This compressor is lubricated with Mineral Oil and is designed for use with R12 systems only or systems that are using R12a non-Freon replacement refrigerant (such as Red-Tek or Duracool) and are still using Mineral oil as the lubricant.

This compressor cannot be used on R134a systems unless it has been flushed and the appropriate amount of PAG oil (or Ester) has been added: it is far easier to order the correct compressor for use with R134a.

This is a 15 series compressor, there is a larger capacity 17 series compressor available if you would like to use that instead; the 17 series unit is appropriate for vehicles with rear-mounted AC systems. See: 88320-60340 (R12) 10PA17C
