These are the direct replacement fit 11mm ARP Head Studs. Kit comes with 26 studs and hardware for the Land Cruiser 1PZ, 1HZ, 1HDT engines.

These ARP head studs provide clamping forces that are 40% greater than the stock torque to yield bolts.

No modification to head bolt holes in the block or head is required. This will help gain the increased head clamping required in performance applications. They will achieve a more evenly distributed and accurate torque load compared to that of head bolts by eliminating the twisting force created during tightening. This ultimately translates into higher reliability and a lower chance of head gasket failure.

Testing has demonstrated that stock TTY head bolts range around 11,000 lbs of force on average, these ARP studs provide considerably more even clamping forces averaging 15,785 lbs.

Installation instructions are included in the kit.

** Do not use the factory torque procedure with this head stud kit **

There is a 13mm version available for even greater clamping force, however these require machining the block (drilling and tapping) and re-drilling the holes in the head for clearance. Please enquire if you are seeking this particular head stud kit (13mm Kit = HSKTO340).

Note: Make sure the head bolt holes are properly cleaned out, and that you use the supplied ARP Ultra Torque lubricant under the nut and washer while torquing in to place.
