Bolt, Crankshaft Pulley - Toyota 2LT-II, 2LTE, 3L engines as found in Land Cruiser Prado LJ series, Hilux pick up trucks, HiACe vans as well as many other vehicles.

This bolt should be replaced when you are replacing your crankshaft pulley.

This bolt is included in our timing belt kits as they are prone to loosening off - and replacing the bolt seems to reduce the likelihood of this happening.

A loose crankshaft pulley bolt almost always means they pulley will rotate back and forth on the crankshaft and wear out the keyway - which may mean an annoyingly costly repair or the need of replacing the crankshaft.
