Fits: BJ60, BJ61, BJ70, BJ71, BJ73, BJ74 with the self-adjusting clutch slave.
Pro Tip: We strongly advise that you follow good repair practices and replace your master cylinder at the same time you’re replacing the release/slave cylinder.
Clutch and brake fluid should be replaced every one to two years as it absorbs water over time and it causes the brake tubes and cylinder bores to rust out from the inside.
Note: The master cylinder for RHD 70 series with the vacuum booster are no longer available. The later versions of the master cylinder can be adapted for use. See part number 31401-60060

These part numbers are no longer available as Toyota Genuine parts.
Oddball Notes: the difference between the short and long clutch slave is that the short one was found on 3Bs with the cast iron bell housing (31470-60050), vs. the later one that has an Aluminum bell housing. They are NOT interchangeable. This is the longer type that is used with an aluminum bellhousing.
--> It has come up in some engine swaps that there is a mixture of parts being used, the short non-boosted slave cylinder can not be used with a boosted system, and vice versa.
