This ECU controls the shifter release mechanism. This actual part is used on the LX470 / UZJ100 / HDJ100 & HDJ101 Series.
The wiring connectors are different than found in an 80 Series, but they can be adapted to replace a non-functioning Land Cruiser 80 Series shift lock control ECU. Details can be found online how to make the correct connections.
