Seal, Front Transfer Case Output Shaft - Land Cruiser 34mm & 38mm Split Style Transfer Case 08/1980-on

This is a "T type" seal which means it has 2 sets of sealing lips; the double lips seal oil in and seal dirt out.

You will notice that these types of seals have a "dust lip" that serves to provide additional protection against dirt intrusion.

This seal's applications are:
• Split transfer case front output seal
• Early 4 speed split case intermediate seal which seals between the transmission and transfer case.
- T Type seal lip will not pose a problem when being installed as an intermediate seal.
- The dust lip will face forwards into the transmission, indicating proper installation orientation, when being used as an intermediate shaft seal.
