Segmental Pulley for rear drum brake

This is the small pulley that sits at the bottom of the brake drum on self-adjusting rear drum brake equipped Land Cruisers from 1981 model years to the end of the 1992 model year.

This transmits the pull from the main parking brake cable, via the bell-crank at the rear of the backing plate, to lever that acts on the shoes via the "in drum" brake wire (47616-60010).

A small dab of silicone brake parts lubricant or anti-seize compound on the shaft the segmental pulley pivots on goes a long way to maintaining smooth parking brake operation in wet and dirty conditions.

This part is not used in Land Cruisers with rear disc brakes and that use a hat style rotor. The parking brake parts in these models are totally different.
