Spring - Starter Motor Solenoid Plunger / Magnet Switch Return (contacts)

For Large Case (Diesel engine) Denso style starter motors.

This is the another little part, along with the ball single ball bearing (90099-12009) that should be replaced during your starter solenoid repair work.

This spring pushes the starter solenoid plunger back into the resting position after the starter has (hopefully) done its job.

This spring has a tendency with time and age to shrink and lose its ability to push the starter solenoid plunger back. This spring can also get really hot from being in the solenoid and it can lose its temper... no, it's not getting angry, rather it loses its ability to be a spring - and that's worse because it can't do its job any more...

If you have a sticking solenoid, you need to replace this spring along with the starter contacts and the plunger.
